Questions
What if I'm screen-sharing when an alert fires?
One click on the menu-bar bell mutes every nudge for the duration; per-calendar rules can also keep meeting-heavy calendars on the gentle card so a takeover never lands mid-presentation. Automatic presenter detection is on the roadmap.
Does my calendar data leave my Mac?
No. Nudge has no server. Your Mac talks directly to Google, read-only; sign-in tokens live in the macOS Keychain, and there are no analytics or tracking of any kind. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Which meeting apps does the Join button understand?
Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack huddles, and 30+ other platforms are detected automatically from the event. When the native app is installed (Zoom, Teams), Nudge launches it directly instead of a browser tab.
Is it Google Calendar only?
Today, yes — connected directly through Google's API, which means no macOS sync lag and reminders that reflect your calendar right now. Microsoft 365/Outlook and Apple Calendar support are next on the roadmap.

What permissions does it need?
